Alright enough of the juicy wizard stuff lets get back to something pretty and easier on the eyes, if not the fingers. The next batch of models are spiney, all right, because they spend all the time under the sea.
Welcome some Deepkin heroes.
Here we have the Isharann TideCaster, SoulScryer and Soulrender. Sadly I don’t have a Lotann with his Octo buddy yet.
These heroes and the entire deepkin army that are going to be coming up in the next few weeks were done by Brandon Branderson over the course of a couple weeks then we spent a few nights pouring them highly experimental resin bases. The color of the resin was done with blue food coloring even though we have plenty of blue ink. I just forgot to use it. Thankfully the food coloring worked great and it was super cheap.
Side note, my soulrender is on a 40mm base instead of the stock 32. If you’re looking for bases to be correct. We didn’t notice until we had already made the 40mm base so I just left it. I may fix it sometime in the future if it is an issue.
Addendum, if you’re interested in this kind of painting drop us an email at Derek@dndtonight.com I’m trying to get Brandon to do a couple painting commissions again. Maybe we can work something out.
